Dos perros, Lucky y Flo, entrenados para localizar discos ópticos demuestran sus capacidades en Sepang, Malasia, donde se ha organizado una de las mayores campañas contra la piratería, que utiliza a perros para oler y descubrir el policarbonato y otras sustancias químicas usadas en estos productos. Son los primeros perros que han sido entrenados con estos fines.
“Sniffer dogs have long been used to spot hidden explosives and drugs, so why not DVDs? That's the theory being put to the test by the Motion Picture Association of America and the U.K.-based Federation Against Copyright Theft (FACT)”. “Two black Labradors named Lucky and Flo were 100 percent successful in finding DVDs in packages”. They hope to use dogs to curb sales of pirated movies.
Who knows, maybe we can use dogs to fight against hideous movies and TV series as well.

This big fellow is Smooshi, a 650 kg (1430lbs.) walrus from the Canadian side of Niagara Falls. Though this might seem rather heavy, he weighs 77 kg (169lbs.) less than the heaviest human (727.3kg/ 1600lbs).
